Acupuncture
Acupuncture involves the use of fine needles at specific points on the body to support the body's functional responses. At Yu Yuan, acupuncture is guided by traditional Chinese medicine principles and modern clinical practice, with an emphasis on safety, precision, and individualised care.
All needles are sterile, single-use, and disposed of safely after treatment in accordance with clinical standards. Each treatment plan is tailored to your individual presentation, with the aim of addressing both your primary symptoms and overall wellbeing.

Cupping Therapy
Cupping therapy uses negative pressure on the skin and superficial tissues and is commonly used to help relieve local tension, improve soft tissue condition, and support overall relaxation. It has a long history of use in Chinese medicine and is often applied as a supportive treatment for musculoskeletal discomfort.
Yu Yuan provides modern vacuum cupping therapy. Temporary marks on the skin may appear after treatment and are a normal response; these usually fade over the following days. Depending on your presentation, cupping may also be used alongside acupuncture where clinically appropriate.
